Is It A Girl?

There I was 35 yrs old, expecting baby number two and certain, hopeful, that I was carrying a wee baby girl.  Because every momma wants one of each, right? I already had a precocious, smiley, energetic, adorable little boy. Not quite two yrs old and overflowing with life and brilliant, good natured mischief. Plus, the most amazing compassionate man as my husband.  So, adding a wee babe to our little family was a planned, exciting event. The finishing act. Our family would be complete as a foursome. We were excited and nervous and I was SURE to have a girl. A dark, curly haired, blue eyed, chubby cheeked, 11 lb girl! Wrong! In the surgery, with Husband at my head telling me dreams of driving to Kentucky, to keep me calm, the doctor says, "Margo, you have a beautiful baby boy!"  Whaaat?? I looked at Husband best I could and said, "We were wrong!"  Sweet Baby Rhett. "Go with the baby, Husband, I'll be ok." And so this is the beginning.
